Praia, Jun 9 (Inforpress) – The national director of Health announced Monday the registration deadline for vaccination of people over 45 years has been extended until June 14.
Jorge Noel Barreto provide this information during the press conference, when he took stock of the epidemiological situation in Cabo Verde, saying that so far 28.881 people have received the first dose of vaccines.
Barreto said that in the last 14 days 14.952 samples were analyzed, representing an average of 1.068 samples analyzed per day, adding that 1.754 positive cases were recorded in this period corresponding to an average of 125 cases per day.
As for the vaccination plan, he reported that to date, a total of 28.881 people have taken the first dose of the Pfizer and Astrazeneca Vaccines, with 21.254 people aged 60 years or older, representing a rate of 42% of an estimate of people with this age in Cabo Verde.
