Rep. Massaquoi Breaks Ground For US$40,6k Modern School Annex In Kolahun

VOINJAMA, Sept. 14 (LINA) – Ground breaking for the construction of a modern high school annex has taken place in Kolba City, Kolahun District in Lofa County.

The ceremony took place on Monday, September 13, on the Kolahun District Central High School campus in Kolba City.

The estimated cost of the school annex is US$40,600, and construction work is expected to be completed in December 2021

The public high school annex will help accommodate the growing number of students attending the Kolahun District Central High School.

In remarks at the ceremony, Lofa County District #3 Representative Clarence K. Massaquoi said he was glad to give back to his people.

He said the annex is part of the promise he made during his campaign and also as a result of the request of citizens and residents of Kolahun District.

Also making remarks at the program, local authorities of Kolahun District expressed gratitude to Rep. Massaquoi for the decision to construct the public high school annex, as well as his humanitarian gestures towards the people of Kolahun District.

The citizens and residents pointed out that the annex when completed will also help reduce the accommodation challenge currently facing the Kolahun District Central High School.

They then pledged their unflinching support to whatever development projects Representative Massaquoi will embark upon in Kolahun District.
