Portuguese Minister in Cabo Verde to identify more opportunities for cooperation between the two countries

Praia, Oct 15 (Inforpress) – Portugal’s Minister of State, Economy and Digital Transition, Pedro Siza Vieira, met Thursday with Portuguese entrepreneurs living in Cabo Verde to listen to their economic and productive potential and support areas.
Speaking to the press, Pedro Siza Vieira said the Portuguese Government, within the framework of its programme has sought to be close to Portuguese companies and the places where they are located to identify the areas of activity his country can help improve.
“I come to hear, to understand how for Portuguese companies, the Portuguese State and the institutions of the Ministry of Economy can support their activities, I also identify more opportunities for cooperation and Portuguese investment here in the region and to deepen, in general, cooperation between the two countries,” he said.
The Portuguese Minister added that during his stay in Cabo Verde he will also maintain contact with the Government and Bank of Cabo Verde to examine the status of economic relations between the two countries.
