Ben Forkuo calls 31 players to begin camping for Under-20 World Cup

Accra, June 8, GNA- Ben Forkuo Head Coach of the Black Princesses of Ghana, has invited 31 players to begin preparations at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence at Prampram this Sunday ahead of the Under-20 Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) Women’s World Cup tournament in Costa Rica.

The team went on break in March after qualifying to the world cup tournament, beating Ethiopia 5-1 and are expected to make a return to begin preparations towards the tournament.

The Princesses have now booked their sixth consecutive World Cup qualification having been paired alongside defending champions Japan, USA and the Netherlands.

Having been tagged as one of the most consistent women’s national teams in Africa, the princesses would be looking forward to putting in much effort ahead of their preparations to raise the flag of Ghana high.

Goalkeepers: Cynthia Finndib Konlan, Grace Banwaa Buoadu, and Ziblim, Abigail Tawiah.

Defender: Abena Anoma Opoku, Comfort Yeboah, Anasthesia Achiaa, Rebecca Atinga, Susan Ama Dua, Selina Anima, Ayisha Yakubu, Luisa Aniwaa, and Zuleiha Fuseinu.
