FPEF signs contracts with training entities for the implementation of the first phase of the scholarship program

Praia, Sep 30 (Inforpress) – The Fund for the Promotion of Employment and Training (FPEF) today signed program contracts worth 51 million escudos with 17 training entities for the implementation of the first phase of the scholarship program.
The signing of the program contracts took place this morning, and in his speech, the spokesman of the public entities present at the ceremony and chairman of the Board of Directors of the School of Hospitality and Tourism of Cabo Verde (EHTCV), Sérgio Sequeira, praised the initiative that, in his opinion, allowed to create a funding format so that young people can have access to study with funding.
“We appreciate the effort that has been made to implement this program, our young people will benefit from future professions and, above all, with professions with jobs. We need to create the necessary conditions for the Government to find the best solutions so that employability is a reality in this post-pandemic and our young people can have opportunities,” he said.
In turn, the representative of private entities, Ana Reis, highlighted the importance of investing in the training and education of young people, with a view to promoting the development of the country, and in this sense, she appealed to young people not to give up this opportunity.
