Espargos, Apr 16 (Inforpress) – The Institute of Meteorology and Geophysics (INMG) workers suspend on Thursday the strike scheduled after the administration commitment to make efforts to publish the definitive list of career, positions and salaries plan (PCCS).
In a press conference in Sal, the INMG president, Maria da Cruz Soares, explained that the reason to held strike, the institute PCCS, was approved by the Government and the list classifying workers in their positions, according to the salary grid, was prepared “respecting all legais procedures”.
“We regret, therefore, and repudiate the Transport, Communications and Public Administration Union (Sintcap) position which, instead of rejoicing in the progress made on labour issues still outstanding for more than 15 years, intended to organize shamefully and at all costs an unnecessary strike”, she said.
Considering the analysis of the 107 processes of INMG workers, the responsible understands that “it will not be with pressure and blackmail” they will be able to reach “good port”.
