Justice: Government will install Legal and Judicial Training School

Praia, Oct 21 (Inforpress) – The Minister of Justice Joana Rosa said the Government is working to install the Legal and Judicial Training School for bailiffs, notaries, registry officials and prison officers.
The information was announced by the Government this afternoon during her speech at the parliamentary hearing in the Specialized Committee on Constitutional Affairs, Human Rights, Security and State Reform, as part of the preparation for the parliamentary debate on the State of Justice scheduled for next week.
“We will work in the installation of the school of a Legal and Judicial Training School, and we have internal conditions to put it to work, for jugdes, bailiffs, notaries, registry officials and prison officers”, she said.
According to the minister, the idea is to recruit internal capacity the country has, such as judges and prosecutors who are in retirement, great consultants and lawyers who can teach and transmit knowledge to new jugdes, bailiffs, notaries, registry officials and prison officers.
