World-2022: Niger’s President Congratulates Morocco on Qualification for Semi-Finals

Niamey, 11/12/2022 (MAP) – The President of the Republic of Niger, Mohamed Bazoum, has congratulated Morocco, King and people, following the qualification of the Atlas Lions for the semi-finals of the World Cup (Qatar-2022).

« Following the successive victories of the Atlas Lions in the World Cup, it is with great pleasure that the Nigerian people join me in sending His Majesty the King, as well as the brotherly people of Morocco, our warmest congratulations, » wrote Sunday on his Twitter account President Bazoum.

Morocco qualified for the semi-finals of the World Cup (Qatar-2022), a first at the Arab and African level, by beating Portugal by 1 goal to 0, on Saturday at al-Thumama stadium.

Morocco will face France in the semi-final.
