Accra Oct.15, GNA- Our Lady Queen of Africa Catholic Church (OLAQA)at the weekend embarked on a health walk and health screening in commemoration of it fifth anniversary celebration.
The walk commenced from Ayawaso junction to the church premises at Oshiuman Estate for the health screening.
Ms Rejoice Acolatse who is a member of the Anniversary Committee said the health walk was part of activities for the anniversary and it was embarked to create awareness of the existence of the Catholic Church in the community.
She said the health screening was an opportunity for the community members to check for their sugar level, their cholesterol level and hepatitis B status.
She called on the community members to do regular checks to prolong their life span.
