Meanwhile, the school has already received approval from the Ghana Education Service under the supervision of the Technical Examination Unit, to offer diploma certification.

Mr Clifford Ladzekpo, the Deputy Director of Academics of the School, announced this at the fourth graduation ceremony of the School, in Accra, on Saturday.

The ceremony was held on the theme: « The Impact of Professional Training on the Quality of Media Practitioners », which attracted key stakeholders, including management staff, tutors, parents, guardians, students and loved ones.

A total of 127 students graduated with certificates and diploma in Journalism and Media Studies, Theatre Arts, Integrated Marketing Communications and Television and Film Production after two years of intensive training.

Mr Ladzekpo said the school had signed a Memorandum of Understanding with seven television stations to air students’ productions and give them exposure through industrial attachments.

He noted that the institution had emerged as a brand of choice for prospective students due to its practical-oriented training that equipped students with skills and concepts to be entrepreneurs who could establish their own businesses and even employ others after training.

The Deputy Director of Academics said the School provided practical experience to students so that graduates of the school emerged out with high quality skills to become relevant to industrial needs.

« I encourage all graduating students to use your knowledge and experience to the benefit of all and also be worthy ambassadors as you pursue your career, » he said.

Reverend Dr Kofi Osei-Kusi, the Founder and Chancellor of the School, encouraged them to pursue quality and excellence in all their endeavours.
