LISGIS Trains 518 Enumerators In Grand Gedeh

ZWEDRU, Oct. 17 (LINA) – The Liberia Institute of Statistics and Geo-Information Services (LISGIS) Grand Gedeh Charter has begun training for over 500 enumerators in the county.

Providing details of the ongoing training to the Liberia Mews Agency (LINA) in Zwedru, LISGIS Grand Gedeh County Director Alphonso Gbay explained that the training will run for 10 days, starting from October 15, 2022.

Gbay further disclosed that the enumerators, upon completion of the training, will be deployed across the county beginning 21 October, for onward data collection called census.

According to him, the training is being conducted at five different centers across the county.

The centers include Zwedru Multilateral, City Hall, Penoken, Ziah Town and Zleh Town respectively.

He emphasized that the training so far is proceeding orderly and peacefully.

The trainings are done in preparedness for the October 24, 2022 Housing and Population Census across the country, he said.
