Praia, Jan 8 (Inforpress) – The construction of the new headquarters of the National Association of Municipalities of Cabo Verde (ANMCV) and the creation of the Mayors’ Training School are the main novelties in the association’s 2021 Activity Plan.
The information was released this Thursday to Inforpress by the president of ANMCV, Herménio Fernandes, at the end of the first ordinary meeting of the governing board of this body, in which the main management instruments were assessed and approved.
It was also approved the amendments to the association’s Statute to adapt to the new reality, that is, to the new Government program for this cycle the association faces, and the distribution of responsibilities and nomination of the secretary general of the ANMCV was also approved.
The new Statute, according to this responsible, as well as the activity plan, brings some innovations because they will reinforce the ANMCV capacity for action, whose role is to support the municipalities to also reinforce their management capacity.
