NSA appoints Patrick Johnson as new Secretary-General of NPC

Accra, June 27, GNA – The National Sports Authority (NSA) has appointed Mr Patrick Johnson, as the new Secretary General of the National Paralympic Committee (NPC).

The appointment forms part of the internal administrative arrangements at the NSA.

Mr. Johnson, has taken over from Mr. Ignatius Elletey, who has been sent to the Greater Accra NSA.

The new Secretaray General would handle the day-to-day general operations of the NPC, as well as coordinating and performing the administrative responsibilities.

« Management has appointed you to oversee and handle the general operations, coordinate and perform the administrative responsibilities of the National Paralympics Committee of Ghana as well as coordinate all the Para Sports Association.

« You would present on their behalf planned programs and estimated budgets to the authority, where you would also be a representative of NSA in the implementation of our strategic plan programs and related matters ».

Mr. Johnson has also been tasked to liaise with the Acting Director General in charge of Technical at the NSA for the necessary administrative handing over notes of the operations of the NPC.
