Praia, Mar 6 (Inforpress) – The University of Cabo Verde and the Portuguese School of Cabo Verde – Center for Education and the Portuguese Language (EPCV-CELP) signed this Wednesday in Praia a cooperation agreement in several areas.
The signed document defines the bases for the cooperation to be developed between the two institutions with a view to promoting an active institutional partnership in the scope of research, training and certification of competences.
Such cooperation will develop, as Uni-CV has advanced, through joint actions, namely the development of education and training programs, the sharing of information and publications, as well as the joint development of projects and research. The agreement was signed by the director of EPCV-CELP, Maria Suzana Maximiano and by the dean of Uni-CV, Judite Medina do Nascimento.
During the event, the Dean of Uni-CV argued that one of the main focuses of this partnership agreement is academic internships, more precisely in the area of education.
“Placing our finalists in internships is always a challenge and it is clear that close and direct collaboration with the institutions that offer this level of education and can accommodate our interns, this collaboration is always welcome”, said Judite Nascimento, believing that this agreement comes in “good time”.
