Praia, Aug 13 (Inforpress) – Civic Action for the Development of Santiago (ACDS) is working on a strategy and vision for the development of this island and to accelerate the development process in North Santiago region, stated today Jacinto Santos.

Speaking to Inforpress, the spokesman said that the recently created group met last Friday to analyze and prepare a document that aims to accelerate the development in Santiago.

During the meeting, the document structure was approved, called “Plataforma Santiago 2030”, which should have a global and sectorial diagnosis of Santiago Island, a projection view of Santiago Island in 2030, the development model, main development projects and a framework political and institutional leadership and governance.

“We have already entered the drafting phase and we think we will have the zero draft of the document by the end of this month to collect contributions and close the dossier in the second half of September for its dissemination to the authorities in Santiago Island, candidates for mayor, party leaders, Government, Parliament, Cabo Verde partners and Civil Society Organization.
