MP for Prestea Huni-Valley supports Aboso health centre

Aboso (W/R), July 22, GNA-The Aboso health centre in the Prestea Huni-Valley constituency of the Western Region has received medical equipment from the Member of Parliament (MP) for the area, Mrs Barbara Oteng-Gyasi.

The items included, bed sheets, resuscitation equipment, delivery and ward beds, pillows, infusion stands, trolleys, specimen bottles, cotton wool, surgical gloves, oxygen mask and tubes.

The rest were ventilation bags, surgical sponge, theatre gowns, medical waste containers, plastic tray and galipot, blood culter holders and wheel chairs

Presenting the items, Mrs Oteng-Gyasi, who doubles as the Minister of Tourism and Creative Art lauded the first Lady Mrs Rebbeca Akufo Addo’s Foundation for making available the items to the Aboso health facility.

The MP said with the assistance, the Aboso health centre would be well equipped to take care of the increasing health needs of the citizens in Aboso and its neighbouring communities.

Mrs Oteng-Gyasi charged the health personnel to make good use of the equipment to improve upon quality health care delivery in the Prestea Huni-Valley constituency.

She promised to put in more efforts to ensure that her constituents had access to good health care.

Receiving the items on behalf of the Aboso health centre, Mr Edmund Tetteh, physician assistant, thanked the MP for coming to their aid and said the gesture would go a long way to save more lives.
