Paul Aug 26 (Inforpress) – The General Director of Planning, Budget and Management, José Manuel Marques, stated that the Ministry of Education (ME) is going to distribute around ten thousand televisions to support the most needy families.
Speaking to Inforpress, this Tuesday at Paul, José Manuel Marques said that the ME is “creating” the conditions to support the teaching / learning process that will continue to function on television, as a “means of assistance” in the educational process.
“We will distribute around ten thousand televisions to families do not have this device”, assured José Marques, adding that the process “is going well” and before the start of the new school year it will be “triggered” in each municipality.
However, the official explained that it is a “complex process” “that is linked” with the Single Social Register, so that the families to be “selected” should be enrolled in the social programme and must also have “children or adolescents” on the “age to be” in secondary education.
