Mindelo, Sep 23 (Inforpress) – The director of the National Center for Art Crafts and Design (CNAD), Irlando Ferreira, said in Mindelo that artisans and creatives will be required to test negative to COVID-19 or vaccine certificate to participate in Urdi 2021.
Irlando Ferreira provided this information at the Mindelo Cultural Center, during the presentation of the Cabo Verde Craft and Design Fair (Urdi 2021), which will be held at Praça Nova.
“It will return to Praça Nova taking into account the presentation of a COVID-19 vaccine certificate or negative test because especially we who participate as fairgoers will have to take extra care because we can spread COVID-19 to one thousand and one people. Then we will have to be the first to respect the health authorities guidelines”, explained the director of CNAD.
According to the same source, the fair will have as invited municipalities the Sal, because of the tourist dimension, and Ribeira Grande de Santiago, because it is a World Heritage City.
He also explained, the fair will have guests from Brazil and Portugal who can participate in person or virtually.
