Rabat, , 22/09/2018 (MAP)  – The President of the Atlantic Federation of African Press Agencies (FAAPA), Director General of the Moroccan News Agency (MAP), Mr. Khalil Hachimi Idrissi, received on Saturday 22 September, 2018 in Canberra (Australia) the « Africa Awards » Prize in the category « International Recognition » for its remarkable involvement at FAAPA as founder         and his achievements at the head of MAP.

« This award is a recognition of the exceptional career of Mr. Hachimi Idrissi and his work at the Moroccan news agency and the Atlantic Federation of African news agencies, » said Charles A. Koker, coordinator of « Celebration of African Australians « , which organizes the « Africa Awards », an event that celebrates the contribution of the African community in various areas of the Australian society.
