Boxing: Decentralized South Santiago Regional Championship enters into its second round

Praia, Nov 25 (Inforpress) – The Vává Duarte Sports Pavilion hosts, this Saturday, the 27th, the second round of the South Santiago Regional Boxing Championship, which this year is being played in a decentralized way in three municipalities.
Started last week in the municipality of São Domingos, where the championship kicked off, after the long stop due the restrictions imposed because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the competition returns, this time to the Vává Duarte Sports Pavilion, where the organization has a good attendance of lovers of the sport.
The athletes in competition, in the most diverse categories, referring to the male and female, fight for the final stage, scheduled for December 5 in the Cidade Velha, in the municipality of Ribeira Grande de Santiago.
On the sidelines of the championship, the Regional Boxing Association of South Santiago (ARBSS) has underway a training for boxing referees, with the purpose of empowering trainees on the new laws of officialized games by the International Boxing Federation (AIBA).
