Fatherhood is divinely crafted – Moderator Agbeko

Ho, June 20 GNA – Rt. Rev. Dr. Lt. Col. (Rtd) Bliss Divine Agbeko, Moderator of the General Assembly of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Ghana has reminded men that fatherhood is divinely crafted and a calling to be a father.
     He urged them to work hard to bring up children under their care to become people with value.
     Rt. Rev. Dr. Lt. Col. Agbeko gave the reminder in his Fathers Day message in an interview with the Ghana News Agency in Ho.
     He asked them to work hard and diligently to become blessings not only to their families but the nation as a whole.
     « To be a bread winner of a family is not an easy task but with dedication, faithfulness and prayers we can do it, » he noted.
      The Moderator noted that the presence of fathers in their homes should bring joy and happiness rather than bitterness and fear.
     He advised men to assist each other by way of advice to play their fathers roles effectively and efficiently.
     The Moderator said, « Ghana can only progress through the efforts of fathers and become what we all wish it to be devoid of societal evils. »
     He wished all fathers the best of the day and urged them not to get tired of their divine responsibilities.
