GES appoints new teachers

Accra, Nov. 9, GNA – The Ghana Education Service (GES) has appointed new teachers who successfully went through the recently held aptitude test.

They have been posted to specific schools to teach specific subjects.

These were contained in a release signed by Ms Cassandra Twum Ampofo, Head of the Public Relations Unit of the GES and copied the Ghana News Agency in Accra on Thursday.

It stated that candidates would be put on one year probation, after which, they would be employed when they passed the Teacher Professional Licensure Examination.

Successful candidates are expected to confirm their appointments to their respective headmasters latest by November 15, it noted.
