Accra, July 09, GNA -Black Stars and Trabzonspor forward Asamoah Gyan has hinted that, the 32nd African Cup of Nations (AFCON),could be his last appearance at the continental showpiece for Ghana.

According to the General Captain, though he had not firmed up his intentions ,  it was possible he could be hanging his boots for the national team soon, after a miserable campaign at the competition in Egypt.

Gyan, told the GNA Sports in an interview after the defeat at the hands of Tunisia that, “I could call this tournament, my last having represented Ghana at this level for seven times.

“Though i have not yet taken a concrete decision yet, I am still considering it, because we have young ones in the team that need to be given the chance to blossom in the national colours,” he said.

Ghana lost on 4:5 penalties after a one all game in regulation time as Caleb Ekuban’s shot went into the waiting arms of the Cartage Eagles goalkeeper to end Ghana’s hopes of ending the 37-year trophy drought.
