NGO donates laptop computers to Horti EP Primary School

Horti (VR), July 4, GNA- Advocacy for Technology (ADVOTEK), a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), has presented four laptop computers to the management of Horti EP Primary School in the Akatsi South Municipality of the Volta region.

The donation is to strengthen the teaching of information communication technology (ICT) in the school.

Presenting the items at a short ceremony at Horti, Mr Ernest Agbanyo Sena, founder of the NGO, said they expected the move to bring significant change to performance.

Mr Banabas Duho, the headteacher of the school, said information and communication technology (lCT) was critical to quality education delivery.

« We are looking forward to receiving more from you in the years ahead, » he added.

Togbui Ladzekpo Tette-Gefu IV, Chief of Horti, who witnessed the ceremony, appealed to the school management committee and Parent/Teacher Association (PTA) to remain committed to ensuring children in the community get access to quality education.
