MONROVIA, Sept. 12 (:LINA) – Liberian leader, Dr. George Manneh Weah, has sent a congratulatory message to the His Majesty King Charles III, King of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, on his ascendancy as King of that Kingdom.

According to a Foreign Ministry release, President Weah extended congratulations and best wishes to the King of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland on behalf of the Government and People of Liberia and in his own name.

The Liberian leader expressed hope that the people of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland under King Charles’ leadership will continue to enjoy the blessings of peace, unity and prosperity.

President Weah mentioned that Liberia strongly believes that the excellent relations of friendship and cooperation between the country and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland will be further strengthen for the common interest of the two peoples.

The Liberian Head of State prayed that God Almighty will continue to protect His Majesty and grant him wisdom and greater success in fulfilment of his noble task as King of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
