Luanda – Angolan head of State João Lourenço discussed Friday in Luanda with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of China, Qin Gang, issues of common interest, as part of strengthening bilateral cooperation relations.

Qin Gang, who was received in audience at the Presidential Palace, did not speak to the press at the end of the meeting that lasted more than an hour.

In Angola since Thursday, the Chinese official is on a tour of some African countries. Even today, before leaving the country, he will hold a working meeting with his Angolan counterpart, Téte António.

Angola and China established, on January 12, 1983, diplomatic relations. In 2000, cooperation gained new impetus with the signing of various legal instruments in the social, commercial and business fields.
