The District Development Coordination Committee (DDCC) being supervised by the Directorate of Rural Development within the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, is currently witnessing the Bi-Monthly meeting of the Western Area Rural District Council (WARDC), in Waterloo.
The meeting which drew stakeholders from MDAs, NGOs/CSOs, Core Council Staff, Women and Children, Local and Traditional Authorities and other critical stakeholders to discuss development interventions, reports, action points and the way forward within the district.
The meeting is being chaired by Alhassan Yillah, Deputy Chief Administrator, WARDC.
The process of institutionalising and strengthening of DDCC is to manage overlaps, ensure ownership and coordinated development, established platform to discuss challenges and progress in the districts.
The Senior Rural Development Officer, Mr. S. A. M. Gibril, the Village Headman, Leslie O. Whenzle among others, are in attendance.
