Praia, Dec 22 (Inforpress) – The president of the Association for the Visually Impaired of Cabo Verde (Adevic), Marciano Monteiro, said today that despite the pandemic the association was able to assist its members.
The person in charge, who spoke to Inforpress at the association general meeting held today to evaluate the activities and approve the activities plan and budget for 2022, admitted that the COVID-19 pandemic has complicated the situation of the community, which in his opinion faces problems.
However, with the support from various partners, the association was able to deliver on what was foreseen, supporting over time its members.
“We’ve always had constraints and with this pandemic situation it’s gotten a little more complicated, but we’re still not so sad because even within that conjuncture we were able to develop much of the activities we had planned,” he said.
