Kpone(GAR) April 09, GNA- Sentuo Group of Companies has donated assorted items to the Kpone Katamanso Municipal Assembly (KKMA) to help in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic during the partial lockdown period.
The items included 120 bags of rice and 100 cartons of cooking oil to distributed to the vulnerable in the Municipality.
In an interview with the Ghana News Agency, Mr. Daniel Madjie, Human Resource Manager of Sentuo, noted that the country was not in normal times and it was prudent to donate such items to alleviate the pressure on the citizenry
Mr. Madjie explained that Sentuo group of companies would continue to assist the Municipal Assembly to feed its vulnerable during this trying times of the partial lockdown.
Receiving the items on behalf of KKMA, Mr. Solomon Tettey Appiah, Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), expressed gratitude to Sentuo group of companies for their timely intervention.
He called on other corperate organizations to emulate the kind gesture of Sentuo.
Mr. Appiah stressed on the need for residents to adhere to the regulations put in place to contain COVID-19.
