Praia, Mar 11 (Inforpress) – Nadační fond Naděje Cabo Verde (Cabo Verde Hope Foundation) intends to rehabilitate 100 homes of Cabo Verde’s most vulnerable families as part of the “Dream House” project, budgeted at half a million euros.
The information was forwarded on Tuesday to Inforpress by the foundation president, Mónica Duarte, resident in the Czech Republic, having announced this year will rehabilitate 50 homes in all municipalities in the country, with the exception of the City of Praia.
Speaking to Inforpress, via zoom platform, the former model explained that the foundation has dedicated itself in the last two years to supporting children in Cabo Verde, but with the COVID-19 pandemic decided to turn some of its actions to the most vulnerable women.
The idea of starting the “dream house” project came after experiencing the “anguish” of many Cabo Verdean families in the countryside of Santiago, at the time of the last rains.
