Accra, Sept. 17, GNA – Northern Sector Referees and Assistant Referees have begun a fitness test for the new season.
A statement from the GFA said, referees and assistant referees would be undergoing the test in search of a place to officiate in the 2021/22 football season.
It said the mandatory physical fitness tests would run from Friday, September 17 – Sunday September 19, 2021.
In all, about 200 Referees and Assistant Referees (Men and Women) would participate in this test to renew their license for 2021/22 League season.
The tests would be supervised by the National Fitness Instructors and the Referees Committee for selection as Premier League Referees.
All participants will undergo medical examination before the tests.
