Porto Novo, Apr 6 (Inforpress) – The strategy of the soap factory in Porto Novo, Santo Antão, to take the product to the European market, in these first months of 2020, is suspended with the restrictions imposed by the authorities to prevent the spread of the new coronovirus.
According to the owner, Inês Silva, the soap factory is betting, in the first months of this year 2020, on the conquest of the European market, more specifically Spain, Portugal and France, a challenge postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
This factory, which, in addition to soaps (bar and liquid), also produces natural shampoo, has been conquering the North American market and had as its goal, in these first months of the current year, to reach Europe, starting in the Canaries (Spain).
The factory, installed in 2018, in Ribeira das Patas, in the countryside of the municipality of Porto Novo, manages to have a daily production of 800 to thousand soaps and more than 200 bottles of natural shampoo.
