Praia, Sep 30 (Inforpress) – The Government will create by the end of this week the conditions for people to get the result of the COVID-19 test via digital platforms, reduce the diagnostic response time and will also massify the tests.
These are some of the information the Prime Minister, Ulisses Correia e Silva, transmitted to the Head of State, Jorge Carlos Fonseca, during the Council of the Republic meeting, the President of the Republic political consultation body, which was meeting, for more than six hours to analyze the country’s epidemiological situation, with regard to health, economics and education.
At the end of this meeting, which lasted more than six hours, the Head of State told press that on some islands such as São Vicente, Santo Antão, Boa Vista, Fogo and São Nicolau, the situation is under strict control, and in Sal Island there is a very positive development.
In the city of Praia, on the other hand, there is still an increase in cases, which, in his view, should deserve “special attention”, which implies several types of actions, such as reinforcement of surveillance measures, closure of beaches, more inspection and others short-term measures.
