Lamptey joins Kotoko on a three-year deal

Accra, Sept. 13, GNA – Ghanaian Premier League giants  Asante Kotoko has announced the signing of young attacking midfielder, Richmond Lamptey.

 The attacking midfield sensation has penned a three-year deal with Porcupine Warriors, keeping him at the club until 2024.

The 24-year-old joined Kotoko on a free transfer after a deal was agreed with his representatives, ProBall Gh Agency.

Lamptey was one of the outstanding players in the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League (GPL) despite being relegated with Inter Allies.

The Black Stars ‘B’ midfielder was instrumental in the 2020/21 GPL, scoring three goals in 30 matches for Inter Allies.

Lamptey’s long range goal against Accra Hearts of Oak was nominated as one of the best goals in the 2020/21 GPL season.

Lamptey previously had spells with WAFA SC in 2018 as well as a loan spell with Lebanese second-tier outfit Salam Zgharta.
