Praia, Oct 15 (Inforpress) – The organizer of the Short Stories and Oral Narration Festival, Gil Moreira, said the initiative aims to enhance the traditional short stories of Cabo Verde’s history through music and theater.
Gil Moreira made this statement to Inforpress, on the fringes of the opening of the Festival of Short Stories and Oral Narration, this Friday, organized by the Ministry of Culture and Creative Industries, through the National Library of Cabo Verde, in partnership with the Palace of Culture and Gil Produções, as part of the celebrations of the National Day of Culture and Communities.
The official explained that the short stories festival includes written short stories, a way to get the library out, to bring influence to young people, new layers and all people who do not have the habit of reading.
According to him, in the oral narration part, the organization has main characters who are new trainees in this process and give a new twist to traditional short stories of Cabo Verde’s history.
