Praia, Nov 26 (Inforpress) – The young people from Jorge Luís, in Porto Novo, Santo Antão, once again demand to City Hall of Porto Novo the fulfillment of the “promise made in 2016” to build, in this locality, a sports field for the occupation of their free time.
The youth from Jorge Luís, which Saturday won the Santo André Football Championship, a championship disputed between the different communities that make up this parish, understand that the achievement constitutes “a call of attention” to the City Hall that “has so promised” the sport field.
The young people from Jorge Luis, who beat Chã de Norte’s six-time champions in the final 1-0 to win the trophy for the first time, recall that current City Hall team promised to build this sports field three years ago and being “the mandate almost over,” they demand that “the promise be fulfilled.”
“We, the young people from Jorge Luís, want the sports field long promised by the successive rulers of the Porto Novo municipality,” said Nandy Baptista, spokesman for the youth from this town, who have been waiting for this sports s field for three years.
In addition to Jorge Luís, young people from other communities, such as Ribeira dos Bodes, Casa de Meio and Planalto Norte, also claim the construction of sports field.
