Praia, Jul 15 (Inforpress) – The Prime Minister, Ulisses Correia e Silva, announced Monday that his Government continues to invest “strongly” in the energy transition, for which, according to him, 29 million Euros are already mobilized, including climate action.
According to the Prime Minister, the project also includes mobility, through a “strong participation” of Luxembourg Cooperation and, to close electric mobility, an amount of around 13 million dollars is being negotiated with the World Bank.
The head of the Government made these considerations at the opening of the National Dispatch Center, SCADA / SEM / DMS, located in the vicinity of the Renewable Energy Center (CERMI).
“We have in process, both in progress and in the tender process, more than 50 million euros of private investments in the production of renewable energy”, stated Correia e Silva, adding that for this purpose the Government created a “favorable institutional framework and tax incentives”.
