Accra, Oct.31, GNA – Mr. Olluboi Commodore, General Manager of Accra Great Olympics, has said, Mr. Kwesi Nyantakyi, former president Ghana Football Association (GFA), deserves the life ban imposed on him by the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA).

In an interview with the GNA Sports, Mr. Commodore said, « i was not surprised about the verdict from FIFA, because the Anas expose video showed vividly the unworthy things that he made, so he deserves the life ban ».

He said, Ghanaians needs to stop corruption, violence in football and also change the attitude towards the game in order to get Ghana football back to its glory days.

Mr. Oluboi urged the Normalisation Committee and all stakeholders to take useful lessons from the calamity that had befallen the former GFA president.

He said, stakeholders in football should behave well and operate within the laws of Ghana football and the nation as well.

FIFA on Tuesday, banned Kwesi Nyantakye from all football related activities at both national and international level with additional fine of CHF 500,000, after he was found guilty of having violated art. 19(conflict of interest), art.21 (bribery and corruption ) and art.22 (commission) of the FIFA code of ethics, follow the Anas video expose on July 2018.
