Dakar, 11/11/2022 (MAP) – The High Authority of Audiovisual Communication (HACA) and Senegal’s National Council for Audiovisual Regulation (CNRA) signed, Friday in Dakar, a collaboration agreement between the two organizations.
Signed by HACA President Latifa Akharbach and CNRA President Babacar Diagne, the agreement establishes a framework for collaboration, based on a dynamic of bilateral exchanges and ongoing multilateral consultations.
This agreement aims to strengthen the expertise and effectiveness of the two bodies in the service of independent and credible media regulation, capable of playing an important role in the consolidation of the democratic project in both countries.
The agreement provides for the implementation of a common agenda of continuous training, expertise missions, as well as joint studies and exchange of experiences in the field of the promotion of regulatory tools and procedures, especially in the field of audiovisual program control.
