Accra, Sept. 19, GNA – Manklalo Nene Atsure Benta III, the Acting President of the Prampram Traditional Council has appealed to parents in the Prampram Traditional Area to encourage their children to pursue higher education.

He said this could help shape the destiny of the youth and also achieve the vision and mission of the Council in its quest to develop the area.

Manklalo Nene Atsure Benta made the appeal at a meeting with opinion leaders of Prampram at the end of their Homowo Festival, at the weekend.

He called on the leaders of Prampram to channel monies spent on chieftaincy and land litigations into promoting programmes for the youth to pursue higher education and to support the needs of the society.

Manklalo Nene Atsure Benta asked God’s blessings of peace and love for all Prampram citizens as they celebrate Homowo.
