Accra, April 10, GNA – Poly Changda, a Ghana-based Chinese company engaged in military housing projects, has donated assorted health products to the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) at the Army Headquarters in Accra.
The items include 20,000 disposable face masks, 36 bottles of hand sanitizers and 15 bottles of antiseptic.
Ms Chory Pei En, the Office Manager of Poly Changda, who presented the products, said that the donation formed part of the Company’s assistance towards enabling the Operation COVID SAFETY troops to carry out their duties successfully to back the nation’s quest to limit the spread of the novel coronavirus.
The Chief of Staff at the General Headquarters, Burma Camp, Rear Admiral Issah Adam Yakubu, received the items on behalf of GAF, and expressed gratitude to the Company, saying the gesture was timely.
He gave the assurance that the military would put the items to good use in the national interest.
