Praia, May 3 (Inforpress) – The Dean of the Jean Piaget University highlighted today the contribution the institution has given in the development of Cabo Verde, stating that it wants to continue to fulfill its mission serving the country with the human resources training.
Wlodzimierz Szymaniak made these statements in an interview with Inforpress, about the 20th anniversary of this higher education institution, which is celebrated on May 7, recalling that after its opening in 2001, with only the Sociology, UniPiaget celebrates 20 years of existence with diversified courses.
“It is a date full of meaning, I think that at the moment Jean Piaget University is in the consolidation phase and we can say with pride that other higher education institutions have followed us and now we have several universities in Cabo Verde,” he said.
Over the years the UniPiaget has trained thousands of people at the level of undergraduate, graduate, permanent training, published hundreds of scientific papers and carried out several research projects, he said, stressing that the presence of the university is vivid in the scientific, social and health landscape in Cabo Verde.
