Praia, Oct 19 (Inforpress) – The commander of the Third Military Region, Silvino Monteiro, highlighted the resilience of the Armed Forces, stressing that, even in the midst of a pandemic, they continued to bet “strongly” in the fulfillment of their missions and duties, “with the same quality as always”.
Silvino Monteiro made these considerations, this Sunday at the ceremony to Pledge of Allegiance of the new young recruits of the 2nd 2020 incorporation, an evente took place in the Command of the Third Military Region, in Praia.
In his speech, the commander of the Third Military Region stated that the pandemic situation has demanded a lot from everyone, both personally and professionally, socially and organizationally, imposing a range of restrictions and, consequently, constant readaptations.
“Therefore, in this way, we cannot count, as is use in these events, on a regular basis and massive presence of the guests who are so important to us and who value and emphasize the ceremony of Pledge of Allegiance, even so this limitation does not remove the natural brilliance of this event, although the absence of the audience is notable, this situation is perfectly understandable for everyone”, he said.
