Accra (G/R), June 12, GNA- A new App, known as ‘Sumafour’ (Sender) has been launched in Accra to help connect and assist families and friends around the world in a safe, affordable and fast way.

The App is a one- stop platform that has been created for Ghanaians in the diaspora to assist loved ones at home.

Speaking at the launch, Mr. Kofi Adu Vanlare, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company said the App was created to skip frustrations that those in abroad faced in sending parcels and monies to friends and families which are sometimes unreliable.

He said their services would not only be limited to urban areas, but would be extended to hard- to – reach communities across the country to ensure majority of the masses benefited from it.

He said it was about time Ghanaians took  digital transformation of businesses to the next level since the world had become a global village with the advancement of technology.

Mr. Vanlare mentioned services such as the caring and assistance services, confirmation services, personal representation and errand services.

He said the App would enable subscribers to enjoy the convenience of running errands at their finger tips, adding that it could be access on all android phones and apple phones.

Nana Obeng- Poku Tano II, the Chief of Borokuwaa who was delegated by the Kwahumanhene and the President of the Kwahu Traditional Area, Daasebre Akuamoah Agyapong II applauded the company for introducing such App that could go a long way to ease stress and pressure on Ghanaians especially natives of Kwahu living abroad.

He therefore entreated the public to patronize the newly introduced App to help end fraudulent activities and inconveniences.

The occasion was also used to unveil the logo for the ‘Sumafour’ App, where a presentation was made to educate and guide subscribers in order to have access.
